  Reformation Sunday

Rooted in the past and growing into the future, the church must always be reformed in order to live out the love of Christ in an ever-changing world. We celebrate the good news of God’s grace, that Jesus Christ sets us free every day to do this life-transforming work. Trusting in the freedom given to us in baptism, we pray for the church, that Christians will unite more fully in worship and mission. 

FALL FOOD DRIVE FOR CCM IN OCTOBER

During the four Sundays of October we'll be collecting food items for Cooperative Christian Ministries - our Food Bank for this area. This corresponds to our Youth participation in the CROP Walk for Hunger, and our "noisy offering" of change, at our 8:30 and 11:00 worship services - both events on October 12th. Items that are particularly needed in this Fall Season are:  

· Canned chicken

· Baked beans, Black beans, Pinto beans

· Pasta sauce, Spaghetti, Mac N Cheese

· Toilet paper, Paper towels

Thank you so much for your willingness to participate in this Food Drive - it is important, and most appreciated!

It’s that time of year again—our Annual Fall Festival is right around the corner! Join us for an evening of fun, food, candy, crafts, and community. This event is open to our church family, preschool families, and the wider community.

🍬Candy Donations Needed! 🍬

We are asking for candy donations from our congregation to make this evening sweet for all the children. A blue barrel will be on the ramp beginning this Sunday to collect donations. Thank you for your generosity!

🙋 🙋Volunteers Needed 🙋🙋

 We need your help to make this a wonderful evening! Here are a few ways you can serve:

· · Decorate a trunk or table and hand out candy outside.

· · Volunteer in the kitchen to help cook and serve hot dogs.

· · Assist with crafts so children can take home fun seasonal creations.

Your involvement makes this community event possible—whether by donating candy, volunteering, or simply showing up to share in the joy. We can’t wait to see you there!

Every Kind of Grace

Please mark your calendars for our annual Stewardship Worship Service and Thanks and Thanksgiving Luncheon, on Sunday, November 23rd at 10:00 am. Pastor Tim Caniff-Kuhn, long-time co-director of Lutheridge, will be our guest preacher for that Sunday. We hope you'll plan to attend both the worship service and our fellowship meal - sponsored by our youth/children - following the worship service.

  If you are interested in attending, please call Keith at the Church Office (704-933-4101) and give him your name and number of folks who would attend. If we have enough, we'll consider getting a van, having lunch before the service, and attending together. Deadline for sign up is Friday, November 7th.
